National University Hospital, Singapore Begins Enrollment in SEA001

SEAICRN welcomes National University Hospital in May 2009 as the latest site to begin enrolling patients in the SEA001 Study--"High vs. Standard Dose Oseltamivir for the Treatment of Severe Influenza and Avian Influenza” with Dr Paul Tambyah as the site Principal Investigator.

“I am very happy to be finally ready to start the study. The timing could not have been better with the heightened awareness of influenza in Singapore right now.  I am optimistic that the other Singapore sites will come online soon,” said Dr Paul Tambyah.

Following several months of site preparation, the hospital has met all requirements for the study and will start screening and enrolling patients.  The total number of Network sites participating in the SEA001 study is 12 sites.

Congratulations to the National University Hospital!
