Family Health International (FHI) assists the SEAICRN to enhance the capacity of clinical sites to perform studies in accordance with international standards and network policies and to facilitate the planning and conduct of studies. 

FHI's role includes site assessments, training and capacity building activities as well as supporting the sites in developing and implementing quality research systems particularly with reference to Good Clinical Practices and human subjects protection regulations.

Additional FHI responsibilities include support relating to pharmacy and clinical laboratory systems. 

FHI's research support specialists are located close to the research sites in Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia.
